Shaundra Young Scott, Esq. is a native of North Charleston, SC.  She received her BA from the University of South Carolina – Columbia with a major in political science and a minor in Spanish. Mrs. Scott attended Universidad del Sagrado Corazon in Santurce, Puerto Rico and The Fenix Institute in Zacatecas, Mexico. Shaundra Young Scott, attended John Marshall Law School in Atlanta.  She has served as the Supervising Attorney with South Carolina Legal Services Migrant Farmworker Division, the Executive Director for the American Civil Liberties Union of South Carolina, and as the South Carolina Deputy Political Director for Senator Kamala Harris 2020 Presidential Campaign.  Mrs. Scott is currently working as the Director of Voter Protection with the South Carolina Democratic Party, where she is the lead attorney in the fight to protect voter’s rights in South Carolina.  Mrs. Scott is also the CEO of SYS Consulting Group, LLC which specializes in civil rights advocacy, legal compliance assistance for non-profit organizations, political and social event coordination and planning, and public speaking.
