Portia Allen-Kyle is a civil rights attorney with extensive experience doing legislative and policy advocacy through a race equity lens. She currently serves as the Associate Director of Law and Policy at the Voting Rights Lab; previous experience includes the American Civil Liberties Union and serving as a policy advisor to presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg. Portia earned her B.A. from Wellesley College, M.A. from Columbia University, and her J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law-Newark.
