Markasa Tucker is a mother first to Zoe Isabella and the Director of the African American Roundtable (AART), a project of Wisconsin Voices. AART is a coalition led by and serving the African-American community in Milwaukee. AART exists to empower and organize our community to transform policies so we can thrive and live at our greatest potential. She has her bachelor of arts degree in mass communications from Grambling State University and is the President of the Grambling State University National Alumni Association for Greater Milwaukee. Markasa has a background in community activism and media relations.
