Committed to advancing the public welfare, Jennifer Blemur is the Director of the Women Legislators’ Lobby (WiLL), a program of Women’s Action for New Directions (WAND). WiLL is a national nonpartisan network of women state legislators who work together to influence federal policy and budget priorities. When women flex their collective power, they can transform policy. Jennifer’s goal is to ensure that elected officials know what is happening in their communities, are equipped with sensible policy solutions, and are empowered to effectuate long-lasting positive change. Jennifer has been committed to public service previously working as a Legislative Counsel at the District of Columbia and as Policy Associate and Legal Counsel at the National Black Caucus of State Legislators. A licensed attorney living in the District of Columbia, Jennifer is a graduate of the David A. Clarke School of Law, a native New Yorker, a first-generation Haitian-American, and a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.
