My name is Idell and I am an employee of EBR School System and also a member of the EBR Association of Office Professionals’ (EBRAEOP). Our association consists of clerical and support employees of the East Baton Rouge Parish School System. I am writing in regards to our Annual Luncheon which will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. at the McKinley Alumni Center, 1520 Thomas H. Delpit Drive, Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

I am asking your company for help with providing door prizes for our members such as gift cards, free lemonade cards, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Today would have marked the 91st birthday of an American trailblazer. Congresswoman Shirley Chisholm (D-NY) approached public service with unmatched zeal and urgency. She became the first Black woman elected to the U.S. Congress in 1968, and the first Black person and first woman to win delegate votes at a major party presidential convention in 1972.
